Competent leadership significantly contributes to a positive work climate. In times of labor shortages and disparities in pay compared to the Berlin administration, Freie Universität can hardly afford to treat well-trained professionals poorly. Recognition and praise are essential tools for competent leaders. Taking achievements for granted and failing to offer praise reflects a lack of organizational culture. We cannot afford to lose more skilled professionals. Therefore, we will provide advisory support to employees in cases of challenges or shortcomings.
